The Black Belt Workforce Initiative completed a successful launch in October of 2019. DCCPC has been the direct administrative oversight for the program and has provided services to 51 adults with 20 of these being WIOA certified as of August 14, 2020. This early success is a direct result of a successful collaboration between the State Workforce team, the Central Alabama Works division, The Dallas County District Court, DCCPC management, and hiring key staff to launch this new opportunity for adults.
The goal of this program is to provide a mechanism to help individuals from the community and those involved in the court system to establish nationally recognized workforce related skills and and credentials and secure employment.

Occupational training certifications
Career credentials
